Want a fast, easy shrimp dish that has layers of taste, this is it. A famous appetizer from The Fish Market restaurant.
Serves: 4
2 pounds shrimp, (U 21-25 or 21-25 shrimp per pound) cleaned
2 red bell peppers, sliced
2 yellow bell peppers, sliced
2 green bell peppers, sliced
½ cup tamed jalapeno peppers (mezzetta.com)
1 bunch cilantro, cleaned and de-stemmed
4 tablespoon olive oil
3 tablespoons crushed garlic
Peel off shells of the shrimp and strip out internal organs, heat 2 tablespoons oil in large sauté pan until starts to smoke, add garlic and shrimp and cook on each side of shrimp for 20 seconds, remove shrimp from pan into large bowl lined with paper towels. Heat pan with 2 tablespoons oil and add sliced bell peppers, stir until peppers cooked, but still crunchy to the taste. Add cilantro, tamed jalapeno peppers, shrimp and bring up to heat and serve.
