Terriyaki OnionsFeel like a slow afternoon baking, try this recipe. Save the juice for use as a teriyaki sauce in other meals.
4 Medium or large sized Onions, skinned, cut into half (Vidalia Onions are great)
8 teaspoons of butter
2 cup brown sugar
1-1/2 cup Kikkoman ( www.kikkomanusa.com) Low Sodium soy sauce

In a 9-inch square high lipped baking pan, space onion half’s. Place 1 teaspoon butter on each onion half, 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Pour soy sauce around onions. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, using a spatula and spoon, gently turn over the onion half’s, keeping each half complete. Cover and bake for 45 minutes more. Serve and enjoy!
